AbortionClinics.org, with locations in Nebraska and Maryland, was founded in 1992 by LeRoy and Mary Lou Carhart. Dr. Carhart has been providing reproductive health services since 1973, and the clinic's motto is "caring for women for more than twenty years with kindness, courtesy, love, and respect."  The Abortion Access Fund was established in 2000, and its primary mission is to help ensure that no woman is refused the health care she needs due to lack of money.

The Abortion Access Fund helps approximately 60 families each year. The Fund also hosts annual fundraisers that introduce their work to the community.

For abortion funds, raising money is half the battle, because they can’t help women unless they have something to give. Donating to your local abortion fund means giving a woman the resources she needs to make the choice that is right for her.
